Laurence Cleyet-Merle

I studied illustration at the Art Decorative school of Strasbourg in France during five years and after that I took the plunge in the children's publishing world!!
I'm living now in Marseille and I walk almost every week-end in the "Calanques", it's small mountains near the city falling into the sea, a very beauteful place!
I work predominantly in acrylic for childrens books and try to render the South light in my pictures with bright colours.
