Over my long career I have developed a unique style of illustration combining the relief print with paint and collage. According to the brief and the historical and cultural influences, I create original and decorative images inspired by British wood engraving, African and Japanese wood cuts, and the countryside around me.
I am illustrating another book of British Folktales for the Folio Society and continue to do work for Alexander McCall Smith's No1 Ladies' Detective Agency series.
I have moved to Wales and now have a larger studio where I look forward to printing on my Columbian press and exhibiting my work locally.
