Philip's traditional illustration techniques are employed to create pictures blazing with light, life, spontaneity...and maybe sometimes an undertow of implied mystery.

Philip studied at Batley College of Art 'in what was then the West Riding of Yorkshire', and after first working in advertising and design he has been a professional illustrator for... a long time. He loves it! And enjoys a happy relationship with a growing list of clients.

Images are usually in watercolour, brush&ink, line&wash.

Pencil roughs are always made for the client prior to finished art being started.

Finished artwork is scanned and sent immediately. Delivery can easily be arranged if the physical artwork is required.
