Philip Smiley has been a freelance illustrator since graduating with an MA from the School of Visual Arts , New York in 1999.
He has designed graphics & illustrated for many major fashion labels( Stella Mccartney,Burberry, Commes des Garcons, DKNY, Banana Republic, Libertine, Duffer of St George, Pringle, Victoria Secret, Illustrated People for Topshop). He has shown his work at bstore, Dazed and Confused Gallery, darkroom. His work has also been featured in many publications( Dazed & Confused, Spin, Blackbook, Maxim, YM, New York Magazine).
While being best known for highly detailed Victorian etchings & toiles, Philip is also very versatile & is able to work in many other mediums including watercolor, oils & acrylics.
