I started illustrating when I was an art director in a major London advertising agency.

Since then I've produced illustrations and character designs for many advertising campaigns and I draw extensively for children’s book publishers. I also illustrate for magazines and press both here and abroad.
My illustrations usually start on the drawing board and I then scan the line work into Photoshop for colour.
I also like to work in pen and ink and watercolour.

Favourite job: "anything that makes me laugh."

Least favourite job: the one where they say, “can you make the nose smaller?”
