Roger studied at Carmarthenshire College of Art, specializing in natural history illustrating, with an emphasis on botanical and landscape subjects. Consequently he has worked from his Norfolk studio since 1986, where he works in traditional media.

Since becoming a full time illustrator, Roger has been involved with many diverse projects and prestigious clients including Tesco, Sainsburys, The Times Daily Telegraph, Readers Digest, National Geographic, Penguin and the Bradford Exchange, to name but a few. He has exhibited regulaly both in England and abroad
