A Hospital of City Creatures

Andy was asked to create two colourful pieces of public art on either side of the cinema funded by the CW+ Charity. The artworks needed to be uplifting for the patients and feature many local landmarks for the viewer to spend time looking at. The patients and staff at the hospital helped Andy come up with ideas for the places to include and which animal shapes to choose. He says "The pieces are a bit different to my usual spray painted murals in that they are digital/hand drawn illustrations scaled up to a huge size on vinyl." These are the largest versions yet of Council's distinctive city creature illustrations.
