Wai

Overview

With a fashion design background, Wai has an affinity with clothing and the female form. She has worked extensively in fashion and beauty, for magazines, packaging, books and advertising.

Training

Wai studied fashion (State Finalist - Smirnoff International Fashion Awards 1992), but her passion for drawing led her to a career in illustration, which has now spanned over 15 years.

Approach

Wai's illustrations are always sketched on paper first and refined meticulously, then placed into Illustrator for colour, and Photoshop for shading.

Elegant composition and a harmonious colour palette, with every detail refined and polished, Wai's style is timeless.
