The Silk Road
French publisher Chêne ask Lucille Clerc for a map illustration tracing Europe to China.
The book is out to coincide with a series of documentaries airing on the Arte channel in France which will follow Marco Polo’s steps from Venice to China. Lucille's fine creation is of the Silk Road and uses cultural icons, symbols and landmarks leading the reader along the route.
