Fionna was recently commissioned to illustrate a portrait of conservationist Rachel Carson against a forest background, the dynamic image appears in the May/June 2018 issue of “Storyworks” Scholastic Classroom Magazine and accompanies the play “The Bird Saver”.
The thought-provoking biographical play follows scientist and nature writer Rachel Carson in her battle to expose the truth about the pesticide DDT.
